My First Day at School
My first day of school was one of the most memorable days of my life. I was admitted to _____________. The first day was full of both excitement and nervousness. As I walked through the front gate, the large building, long corridors, and the laughing and shouting of the students overwhelmed me. My nervousness was gone when I met the teachers. They are kind and caring. I made several friends on the very first day, and my happiness knew no bounds. We shared stories and laughter throughout the day. My friends and I had so much fun exploring the school building and playing in the playground during tiffin time. When the final bell rang at 4:30 pm, I returned home full of joy for this new beginning. I shall always remember that day.
My Hobby
Having a hobby is important for all because it keeps our mind healthy and busy in a good way. My hobby is painting. I love to make pictures of nature, birds and people. It is like capturing a beautiful moment by my own hand. Whenever I get free time, I sit with my sketchbook, pencils and colours. Painting makes me feel calm and happy. Painting helps one to notice things closely and feel it. It also enriches one aesthetically. It helps me use my imagination and express my feelings. My family supports my hobby of painting and encourages me to improve. I also participate in various art competitions where I can share my works with others and can also get inspirations from others. My Pet
(Dog)Having a pet means having a best friend at home. A pet gives us a lot of happiness and mental support. I have a pet dog named Bruno. He is very energetic and friendly. Bruno loves to run around and play with me. He can immediately make anyone happy with his cheerful personality. He guards our house and barks at strangers, and keeps us safe. I feed him milk, biscuits, and rice with meat. He is very loyal, and whenever I feel sad, Bruno comes near me and makes me happy. When I am out, he patiently waits for me and when I return, he jumps around happily. Every afternoon I take him out for a walk. Bruno is not just a pet to us, he is part of family. I love him very much and take good care of him.

Last Sunday I visited the Birla Planetarium with my family members. I was very excited about the journey because it is one of the famous visiting places in Kolkata. The building looks very beautiful with a white dome-like structure. I always wondered about the unknown sky above me. So, when I went inside, I felt very excited. Inside, there is a big hall, we watched a space show about stars, planets, and the solar system. It felt like the roof had disappeared, and I was sitting right under a starry sky. A voice explained many things about the sun, moon, planets, and galaxies in a very easy way. I was amazed to see all of these so closely. Visiting the planetarium was fun and also educational. It made me realize how big and beautiful our universe is. It was a very memorable trip of my life.

It was adopted in its current form in July 1947. It has three colours: saffron at the top, white in the middle, and green at the bottom. In the centre, there is a blue Ashoka Chakra with 24 spokes. It is called 'Dharma Chakra'. In the national flag, the saffron colour stands for courage, white stands for peace, and green stands for growth. The Indian flag represents the unity in the diversity of our nation. The national flag reminds us of our freedom and unity. It is very important for us and all Indians respect the national flag.

Diwali brings joy, happiness, and togetherness. Diwali fills our hearts with warmth and brings everyone together in celebration. I always look forward to this festival with great excitement and joy. It is the most beautiful festival for me.
